hey there peaches~ im as tired as a moocow now.. and i have NHS inductions tonite.....bumma....I just got home from half price book stores.... was looking for a book to read for reading workshop... i managed to find Like Water for Chocolate. It's this book that was translated from spanish into english....and like in spanish culture...the youngest daugher cant get married because they have to spend their lives taking care of their folks till the day they die. So basically... there's this youngest daughter of the family ... and she somehow falls in love with this dude. so... they're madly in love and she decides to ask her mother (who is this....whoa momma type of woman) for permission to marry this most fabulous guy in the world. well..... momma says NO... and the worst part is..she offers this chics older sister to marry the dude instead... and the dude accepts this marriage to the older sister.... AND the mom being the tyrant that she is... decides to maker her younger daughter even more miserable by assigning her the task of preparing for her elder sister's wedding to the muchacho of her dreams. However, through her misery... there is one thing that she does not knoe.... this one thing is that... the dude... is STILL secretly madly in love with her.....AND the only reason he's marrying the sister is because he can be with her....

personally.. i think this book sounds pretty good... BUT.. the dude sounds like a totally pathetic bum.. and the mother... is really awful....but i think i'll read it.
